XLAB Chimp Bottle Cage
Smaller frame triangles and shorter head tubes make tri bikes more aerodynamic, but can cause difficulty getting bottles in and out of standard bottle cages. XLAB designed the Chimp Cage to solve this problem.
The Chimp has special cut off angle of 30 degrees to make it possible to pull the bottle sideways. It is just a quick movement to get the bottle out and the cage has five pounds grip force to grip very well over bumpy surfaces .
The Chimp has slotted holes so that when you mount it you can slide it up for closer reach or lower for better bottle clearance.
In addition to frame mounting, the Chimp is ideal on the XLAB Torpedo Mount for for bumpy or hilly roads.
For the style-conscious, the Chimp's design matches the Gorilla's so you can coordinate your frame cage with your rear carrier cages.
- 30 degrees flared cut off sides give fast sideways removal—right and left
- Designed for smaller frame triangles
